Content Creator
From rigorous online news videos, meme-ridden comedy sketches and thought-provoking interview formats, I’ve done it all during my eight year career.
My most recent role was as a content creator and presenter for Ginx TV. Here I’ve produced, hosted and edited hundreds of episodes of the daily gaming news show Ginx News. This was broadcasted on TV in 28 different countries, yet was created with a digital-first approach. The company’s entire content strategy revolves around building our online audience across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. This means I’m specialised in not only creating highly-engaging content, but also in how to package it.
I’ve created hundreds of short-form videos for Ginx, many of which reaching millions of views on YouTube, Tiktok and Instagram. In fact, during a recent month where I was asked to focus solely on short-form content, our YouTube shorts feed saw a viewership increase of 1,051%.
Throughout my career I’ve also created digital content for the BBC, The Andrew Neil Show (C4) , Jeremy Vine (C5), ITV News, Channel 4 News and Channel 5 News.
Digital Content Portfolio
Here’s a gaming news video I scripted, edited and VO’d about the indie card game Balatro. With hundreds of thousands of views, it’s currently the best performing Short on Ginx’s YouTube channel.
This is another gaming news videos I created for the release of the viral indie game Palworld. It became one of Ginx’s best performing videos on TikTok.
Thumbnails
During my time at Ginx I’ve been tasked with creating dozens of thumbnails. These were all made within Photoshop and were designed to be eye-catching and bold to really drive up those CTR’s. Creative decisions were often made through the help of A B testing and diving deep into video analytics.

Personal Projects
Whether it was my job or not, I would be a content creator. I don’t just do this for the pay check, it’s a deep-rooted passion of mine!
Even as a teenager I used to create Minecraft YouTube videos with my little sister, some of which amassed millions of view - although they’re a bit too cringe to share here. Sadly that was a career path I couldn’t pursue due to the old overheating PC I used at the time (good luck explaining to the cash-strapped single mum in 2012 that she should buy an expensive computer for her son so they can become a “youtuber”)
During the COVID-19 lockdown I also started a comedy Tiktok, with many of the videos I created going viral. I also create all of the content from my pop punk band Vile Plume.
Here are some personal projects that I self-produced (often with no budget) that I am incredibly proud of.
